Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed therapists in the delivery of patient care, including exercises, treatments, and modalities
• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed therapist
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
• Completion of a physical therapist assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
• Current licensure or certification as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Maryland
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual therapy techniques
