Job Description
The marine industry supports recreation, global commerce, and national defense. And yet it runs on technology that hasn't meaningfully changed in fifty years. Until now. Arc is on a mission to electrify the marine industry. We're rethinking powertrains, software, and vessel designs from first principles. And we're already executing.
We're looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager to define how the world sees electric maritime before the category catches up. This is a builder's seat. You'll set the roadmap and ship the work yourself, partnering closely with Brand, Creative, and Growth leads.
Responsibilities
- Owning the editorial calendar and content roadmap end to end, from strategy to what actually ships
- Setting the voice and point of view for Arc, and making sure it holds up whether you're talking to a boat owner or a commercial partner
- Producing and directing content across every format: long-form, video, social, scripts, web, and campaign assets
- Briefing and managing freelance contractors to keep quality high without slowing down
- Partnering with Creative on production and with Brand on positioning, so content always reflects where the company is headed, not just what's next on the calendar
- Shaping product marketing narrative, turning launches and technical milestones into stories people actually want to follow
- Watching what performs and moving fast to do more of it
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years creating content for a brand with a technical, complex, or category-defining product
- A portfolio that shows real range, sharp writing, strong creative direction, and at least a few pieces that actually broke through
- Experience owning voice and editorial strategy for a brand across more than one audience, ideally spanning consumer and technical or B2B content
- Strong editorial judgment, with the instinct to know what's worth shipping and what isn't
- Experience directing and briefing freelance or contract talent, not just producing everything yourself
- A bias for shipping. You publish, learn, and iterate rather than wait for perfect
- Comfortable moving fast in an environment where priorities shift and most people wear more than one hat
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience in maritime, deep tech, or advanced hardware
- Background at a company where the product was ahead of the market's understanding of it
- Familiarity with premium consumer brands or EV
- Comfortable pushing a fast but sustainable pace
- Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy
What We Offer
- Base salary: $140,000 (P3) or $170,000 (P4) annually
- Highly competitive equity grants
- Semi-annual bonuses tied to your impact
- Top-tier benefits, including:
+ Healthcare benefits , 99% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision + Parental leave , 14 weeks fully paid for birthing and non-birthing parents + Generous time off , Highly competitive PTO with an opportunity to earn more time with tenure + Income protection , Life and disability insurance for all employees + Retirement savings , Traditional and Roth 401(k) access + Water fund , $500 for you to spend each year to get out on the water, however you choose + Professional development , $500 annual reimbursement for professional development and a monthly AI stipend + Safety Support- Annual reimbursement for PPE, ergonomic equipment and anything that ensures we keep our crew safe + Captain training , Training and access to take Arcboats out with friends and family + Office perks , Daily lunches, snacks, and good coffee while onsite + Relocation assistance , Available depending on role eligibility
