Staff Software Engineer

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join ArsenalOS, the digital backbone of Anduril's hardware enterprise.

The successful candidate will architect distributed systems within the Manufacturing team in Forge MES, turning factories into adaptive, software-defined production networks.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive technical architecture for Manufacturing Production Solutions
• Make decisions on system design, scalability patterns, integration strategies, and platform vs. build tradeoffs
• Architect and implement complex distributed systems
• Build mission-critical services, APIs, and tooling that enable safe, fast delivery across manufacturing production workflows
• Lead by example with engineering excellence, establishing patterns through hands-on work
• Collaborate with Platform/Foundations to shape shared infrastructure based on Manufacturing needs
• Partner across MES product teams to integrate Manufacturing Production Solutions into cohesive manufacturing experiences
• Represent manufacturing domain technically, working with architecture, security, operations, and infrastructure teams

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering
• Proven ability to influence technical direction across teams
• Experience working with large enterprise applications and platforms with high availability requirements
• Strong full-stack capabilities with expertise in modern web technologies
• Excellent communication skills, able to influence stakeholders and build cross-team alignment
• U.S. Person status is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with AWS, Typescript, and React/Remix
• Experience in hyper-growth startup-like environments
• Manufacturing operations domain knowledge
• Experience with AI/LLM integration
