Description

Reporting to the VP, Global Events, this Principal Event Marketing Manager at Databricks will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the globe to develop events strategy for the 20+ stop Data+AI World Tour.

In this role, you will ensure delivery of industry-leading and high-impact events for global audiences as an extension of the Data+AI flagship event.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and scaling a content strategy for the Data+AI World Tour that increases session attendance and on-demand views by 25–30%
  • Growing the World Tour sponsorship program to deliver year-over-year increases in sponsorship revenue and sourced pipeline
  • Reducing end-to-end event execution cycle times and budget variance through streamlined workstreams and repeatable processes
  • Ensuring seamless flow of leads from events into marketing automation systems and to sales team stakeholders
  • Building a reliable global operating model with Executive, Marketing, Sales, and regional leaders

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of event marketing experience, with 3+ years leading large-scale world tours
  • Experience driving alignment and managing complex, multi-stakeholder global programs
  • Metrics-driven, analytical thinker with ability to utilise data to drive program success
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong executive presence
  • Proven success in achieving or exceeding pipeline targets
  • Experience with Google suite, Salesforce, Swoogo, Asana, and Rainfocus

Pay Range Transparency: Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is: Zone 1: $192,000-$264,000 USD Zone 2: $172,800-$237,600 USD Zone 3: $163,200-$224,400 USD Zone 4: $153,600-$211,200 USD
