Description
As a physical therapist at Sanford Health and Good Samaritan Society, you will diagnose and treat individuals with conditions that limit their ability to move and work. Your goal will be to improve their quality of life by alleviating pain and increasing physical function.
Responsibilities include planning, organising, and delivering physical therapy programmes that help patients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. You will also document patient information, educate patients and their family members about treatment plans and self-exercises, and follow guidelines, regulations, standards, and safety procedures in the therapy process.
Requirements include appropriate education level, licensure as a Physical Therapist, and valid driver's license when applicable. You will also need to obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
