Description
We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Lakewatch team in Berlin, Germany. As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will provide technical leadership to guide strategic customers to successful implementations on big data projects. You will collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across your territory.
The Solutions Architect (Lakewatch) team executes on Databricks' strategic Product Operating Model, providing enhanced focus on earlier-stage, highly prioritised product lines. You will work in partnership with direct account teams to foster relationships, position product lines, and provide compelling reasons for clients to adopt and grow the usage of the given product.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership to guide strategic customers to successful implementations on big data projects
- Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies
- Serve as an expert Solutions Architect building technical credibility with CISOs, security architects, SOC leadership, and security analysts
- Enable clients at scale through workshops, POC execution, and developing customer-facing collateral
- Influence product roadmap by translating field-derived, data-driven insights into strategic recommendations
- Handle complex technical challenges as a tier-3 escalation point for the field
- Establish and refine the sales qualification and POC intake process
Requirements:
- 5+ years of cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or security architecture expertise
- Experience with design and implementation of data and AI applications in cybersecurity
- Deep familiarity with SIEM platforms, including deployment, tuning, detection engineering, and migration strategies
- Strong understanding of the security telemetry landscape
- Experience with 'detection-as-code' workflows
- Credibility in influencing security analytics products with market insight
Competencies:
- 5+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives
- Experience with design and implementation of data and AI applications in cybersecurity
- Proficient in programming, debugging, and problem-solving using SQL and Python
- Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and third-party consulting organisations
- Hands-on experience building solutions within major public cloud environments
- Deep experience in security operations, with broad familiarity across data engineering, data warehousing, AI/ML for security, data governance, and streaming
- Undergraduate degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or similar
