Description
Ford Energy is seeking a Facilities Engineer specializing in Thermal Fluid Systems to play a vital role in ensuring the technical integrity and operational uptime of their startup manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead with integrity to ensure the safe, reliable, and ethical operation of high-stakes thermal utility systems.
- Innovate by applying an entrepreneurial mindset to optimize complex boiler and hot oil systems through data-driven maintenance strategies.
- Drive excellence as the subject matter expert for utility reliability.
Responsibilities include:
- Driving adherence to the Quality Operating System (QOS) and Production System standards.
- Overseeing the operation, maintenance, and reliability of hot oil boiler systems and associated utility equipment.
- Monitoring system performance to ensure maximum efficiency and alignment with the Ford Energy Production System.
- Leading troubleshooting efforts for thermal fluid systems, pumps, heat exchangers, and controls.
- Maintaining meticulous utility documentation.
- Championing continuous improvement and structured problem-solving.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or substantial industrial utilities experience.
- 3+ years of experience working with industrial utilities and boiler systems.
- Direct experience operating and maintaining hot oil/thermal fluid heating systems.
- Experience in high-growth manufacturing or chemical processing environments.
