Sr. Software QA Engineer

Logitech is seeking a Sr. Software QA Engineer to test next-generation software for video conference systems/devices. The ideal candidate will develop test strategies, improve SQA processes, write test plans and cases, debug, resolve issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop test strategies based on software requirements in an agile development environment.
• Improve and streamline the SQA process for greater efficiency.
• Write test plans and cases aligned with software functional specifications and marketing requirements.
• Identify, debug, and resolve issues to ensure best product delivery to customers.
• Manage documentation for bugs and other software issues encountered during testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, firmware, and marketing.

Key Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of software quality testing and product release processes.
• Solid grasp of software engineering processes and development lifecycles.
• Experience in estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities.
• Competence in developing and maintaining comprehensive test documentation with traceability from requirements to tests.
• Expertise in designing and completing regression tests.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose root causes and resolve defects.
• Experience in testing firmware or operating systems running on webcams, drones, android devices, A/V systems.
• Proficiency in designing and executing testing on HDMI, video quality, audio quality, USB, and debugging on Android (adb), Linux, macOS, and Windows systems.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding and experience in SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodology.
• Strong debug and trace skills using adb, Linux commands, or similar tools.
• Experience with using Python, TestRail, JIRA, GIT, or Agile-based tools.
• Expertise in functional, integration, regression, compatibility, and localization testing.
