Business HR Principal Specialist (102908)

We are seeking a Business HR Principal Specialist to support the BHR Sr. Leader and partner with business leaders to provide end-to-end Human Capital solutions that advance the business agenda.

The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner and provide guidance and advice to leaders across the organization to support organizational objectives and business strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with business units/plants to integrate people strategies with overall organizational strategy
• Addressing HR-related trends and issues impacting the business and providing insights, recommendations, plans, tools, and forward-thinking solutions
• Ensuring HR programs, processes, and services delivery are based on the business environment/strategy and talent implications
• Functioning as a strategic thought partner to collaborate with and influence the decisions of business unit/plant leaders
• Analyzing data to identify trends, gaps, and priorities, particularly in the areas of performance management, talent development, and workforce planning

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree with an advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of relevant HRBP or Sr. HR Generalist experience
• Outstanding leadership and coaching skills
• Experience in consulting with business units about workforce planning, talent assessments, and performance management
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing human capital strategies in support of business objectives and goals
• Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
