Description
We're looking for a USMCA Program Planning Analyst to join our Customs Department. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with international trade laws, minimizing duty and tax liabilities, and securing our global supply chain.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of USMCA regulatory requirements and Tariff Codes. They will lead and interface with cross-functional teams, including Program Management, Supply Chain Purchasing, and Material Logistics. This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Support the process development and oversight for USMCA Compliance for all New Model Vehicle and Unit Programs through the GPDS Milestones
- Develop strong knowledge of USMCA regulatory requirements and Tariff Codes to ultimately lead and educate across the enterprise
- Lead and interface with cross-functional teams including Program Management / Supply Chain Purchasing / Material Logistics
- Leadership within New Program Teams, developing sourcing strategy and mix forecasts that ensure adherence to ongoing USMCA requirements
- Develop good working knowledge of the Manufacturing footprint, both assembly and powertrain, and purchasing sourcing strategy to align
- Align critical stakeholders around the program objectives and create a strategy and sourcing plan that ensures compliance as well as program EBIT Targets and affordability
- Establish best practices and process improvements for USMCA compliance forecasting, and move tactical day-to-day workload to strategic and automated processes
- Ability to support non-standard work hours and availability when required to support Global organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science / Engineering or Supply Chain and Logistics / Business or Academic Equivalent
- 2+ years of experience Understanding of USMCA qualification requirements
- Strong Excel and analytical skills are required
- Ability to work cross-functionally with GDIA and lead development of new tools / dashboards
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to develop and present key material to both immediate and senior leadership as required
- Candidate must have strong collaboration skills to be able to work with a cross-functional team
- Ability to work well remotely but also the ability to support in-person meetings when required

Salary:
This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440. Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility, and competitive market value.
