Description
We are seeking an Electronic Hardware EMC Engineer to join our team at AVL Research and Engineering in Istanbul, Turkey.
The successful candidate will have a minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, with Master's and/or PhD qualifications being preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Electronic Hardware Design or validation of electronic components, including electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), is required. Fluency in English and excellent writing skills are essential, while German language skills would be beneficial. The ability to travel abroad is also necessary.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing electronic devices according to EMC aspects and developing solutions
- Carrying out analyses regarding circuit diagrams, circuit board design, and mechanical design
- Actively supporting the development of technical solutions
- Analysing customer requirements according to EMC
- Developing test plans
- Planning and conducting EMC tests at external labs and analysing the test results

- Automotive Electronics
- Low/High Voltage Analog Circuit Design
- Switch Mode Power Supplies
- Embedded Systems Hardware Design
- Spice Simulation Tools (particularly LT Spice)
- Schematic & PCB Layout Design
- Automotive-specific Components & Design Rules
- Electromagnetic compatibility analysis and tests
