New Model Project Manager

We are seeking a New Model Project Manager to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Raymond, Ohio. As a New Model Project Manager, you will assist in the management and execution of the overall development schedule, project lifetime cost, and resources.

Key Accountabilities:

• Proactively manage auto development schedules to achieve related project deliverables
• Facilitate and coordinate meetings to resolve/escalate project concerns and track project milestones
• Establish business relationships vital to the success of the project within SED
• Coordinate the project's daily activities amongst the team and function groups
• Manage schedule changes, delays, and/or recovery efforts within the team and function groups
• Support new model initiatives collaborating with the team to clarify how development decisions may impact project schedules and budget and implement solutions to minimize potential risks
• Maintain accurate project documentation as required by company guidelines
• Maintain professional conduct and follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Ability to multi-task multiple projects/objectives/deadlines in a highly ambiguous environment

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a related Business field
• 0-4 years of experience, based on education
• Excellent project management and process improvement skills
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Excellent attention to detail skills
