Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Belleville, MI. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with rehabilitation activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with exercises and activities as directed by the physical therapist
• Provide patient education on proper body mechanics and injury prevention
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Collaborate with the physical therapist to develop and implement treatment plans

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a physical therapist assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
• Current licensure as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Michigan
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
