Description
Logitech is seeking an Imaging Engineer to join its Personal Workspace Solution (PWS) engineering group. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of engineers on imaging/video products, such as webcams and other video-capable devices.
The Imaging Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality video images by combining image acquisition, image analysis, image quality tuning, and image processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of image quality metrics and testing methodologies, as well as experience with image processing software and tools.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing image quality tests for Logitech webcams
- Analyzing test results and identifying areas for improvement in image quality
- Collaborating with engineers to optimize image processing algorithms and camera module design
- Supporting the development of automated tests for IQ validation and webcam end-to-end testing
- Implementing improvements in the color processing pipeline
- Implementing and optimizing algorithms using image processing, computational photography, computer vision, Deep Learning techniques, and AI
- Supporting techno office in porting features from host to device
- Contributing to the development of new webcam features that push the boundaries of image quality
- Leading or assisting in video certification processes for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Windows Hello
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Imaging Science, Computer Science, or a related field, and a strong passion for creating high-quality images.
