Description
As a Software Development Manager, Commerce, you will lead a team of engineers to design, build, and operate full-stack applications. You will establish a clear vision for your team and generate urgency to deliver for our customers. You will have a laser focus on delivering results, even if that means disrupting process or protocol. You will articulate behaviors that can grow careers and quickly dissect the nuances of trade-offs, making conscious choices and overcoming challenges.
You will have 8+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years of people management experience. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, clarity of thought, and articulation. You will have experience with web services, cloud infrastructure, and system design. You will be able to attract, hire, and retain engineering talent. You will be comfortable operating within an ambiguous and ever-changing environment.
You will have a track record of leading teams to design, implement, and operate consumer-facing applications. You will have an impact-oriented and product engineering leader mindset. You will be hands-on and able to build applications using Golang, AWS Cloud Infra, and/or React. You will have experience building Machine Learning or AI applications. You will have a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
