We're looking for a Commercial Sales Manager who's fired up by our mission and ready to build. You'll thrive here if you adapt quickly, take ownership, and care about the details.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside operators and fleet managers to derive vessel requirements and iterate through architecture concepts.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams on vessel architecture and technical possibilities.
- Engage and form relationships with shipyards for construction estimation and contracts.
- Solve multi-faceted problems to enable new vessel sales.
- Collaborate with internal grants team and external grant agencies to secure capital for projects.
- Create and iterate on sales strategies tailored to the marine market based on objective sales metrics.
- Forecast demand with high precision.
- Set and deliver against sales goals at a company and individual level.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or related field.
- Proficient at communication, project estimation, and technical discussion.
- 5+ years of applied sales experience.
- Demonstrable history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and financial reports to inform strategy.
- Prior experience with pricing strategies and discovery.
- Strong negotiation abilities for managing critical contracts and partnerships.
