We're looking for a Commercial Sales Manager who's fired up by our mission and ready to build. You'll thrive here if you adapt quickly, take ownership, and care about the details.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside operators and fleet managers to derive vessel requirements and iterate through architecture concepts.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams on vessel architecture and technical possibilities.
  • Engage and form relationships with shipyards for construction estimation and contracts.
  • Solve multi-faceted problems to enable new vessel sales.
  • Collaborate with internal grants team and external grant agencies to secure capital for projects.
  • Create and iterate on sales strategies tailored to the marine market based on objective sales metrics.
  • Forecast demand with high precision.
  • Set and deliver against sales goals at a company and individual level.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • Proficient at communication, project estimation, and technical discussion.
  • 5+ years of applied sales experience.
  • Demonstrable history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and financial reports to inform strategy.
  • Prior experience with pricing strategies and discovery.
  • Strong negotiation abilities for managing critical contracts and partnerships.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in marine sales or marine construction projects.
  • Passion for boating and clean energy.
  • Comfortable pushing a fast but sustainable pace.
