Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

Logitech G, a brand of Logitech, is seeking a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer for their China Gaming Engineering organization.

The successful candidate will lead the mechanical design and CMF development of gaming headsets, ensuring the project goals, cost, and schedule are met. They will conduct in-depth research on local gamers' head contours and extension data to design optimized headband and hinge structures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing new gaming headsets through feasibility study, mechanical design, risk analysis, and validation
• Localized ergonomic adaptation for Chinese gamers
• Extreme durability and anti-vandalism design
• CMF and visual execution
• Collaboration with suppliers, internal and external customers
• Partnership with other functions in the China Gaming team

The ideal candidate will have:

• 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and development of headset products
• 3+ years of experience as a technical leader
• Deep understanding of gaming headset ergonomics and clamping force control technology
• Proficiency in mold processes, acoustic material selection, and surface finishing processes
• Master skilled in problem-solving and risk assessment
• Geometrical tolerance knowledge
• Tolerance analysis and statistical analysis
• Knowledge in injection moulding or stamping, die casting, etc.
• Master in CAD and CAE
