Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with rehabilitation programs.
Responsibilities: Assist licensed physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments Conduct patient education sessions on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home programs Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree in physical therapy assistant studies or related field preferred Current certification as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in the state of Texas Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
