Responsibilities
As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Defining and implementing HIL simulator interfaces to electronic control units and subsystem sensor and actuator hardware
- Designing, implementing, validating, and documenting Matlab/Simulink simulation models for interfacing to HIL system hardware and communication networks
- Creating and executing HIL test plans for validation of Control System software and hardware
- Collecting, processing, and analyzing test data, and creating test reports
Qualifications
You will have:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field
- 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
- 3 years of experience with each of the following skills:
- Commissioning and utilizing hardware in the loop systems with Electronics Lab Equipment including volt meters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
- Using Matlab and Simulink for control system simulation
- 2 years of experience with each of the following skills:
- Using dSPACE ControlDesk and ConfigurationDesk for HIL system configuration and testing
- Creation of test plans and automation of test scripts for verification of embedded software with Python, Matlab, and ECU-Test
- Using automotive multiplex network tools CANoe, CANalyzer, or Vehicle Spy for analyzing and verifying network performance
- Programming in a high-level language: C, C++, Python, or Matlab
- 1 year of experience with the following skill:
- Using software version control and process automation tools GitHub and Jenkins
