We're hiring a Staff Recruiter to join EarnIn's Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to partner directly with leadership and help build the AI-Native center of excellence within Talent Acquisition.
The profile of roles we're hiring has shifted, requiring increasingly specialized experience. This role gives you the opportunity to shape how we hire during a unique moment, build a real center of excellence for AI talent acquisition, and grow into broader leadership over time.
This role is for someone who already has an excellent foundation of recruitment knowledge and who is ready for the next challenge of shaping how a high-growth tech company hires in an AI-native world.
You'll be expected to lead by example, mentor teammates, and bring structure, clarity, and thoughtful strategy to the work. Hiring productivity against critical roles and helping with strategy will be critical in addition to stakeholder management and programmatic work.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $207,000-$254,000, plus equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This is a hybrid position in Mountain View (Headquarters) and will require in-office work 2 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Own a complex, global, cross-functional requisition portfolio spanning technical (Engineering, AI/ML, Data, Platform, etc. ) and non-technical (G&A, Product, Marketing, Operations, etc.) functions
- Source and engage candidates for many different roles, including profiles who sit at the intersection of AI, product, and engineering
- Partner with hiring managers across the organization as a true thought partner, not just a coordinator, while managing expectations, assessing/adjusting candidate pipelines, and driving alignment on role strategy
- Actively contribute to creating a best-in-class Talent Acquisition team, including mentoring junior recruiters, providing feedback on process and tooling, and stepping into coverage roles during leaves or transitions
- Build and maintain proactive pipelines for hard-to-fill and strategic roles, with a focus on prioritizing quality hires efficiently, not just filling pipeline.
- Help lead adoption of AI fluency in hiring with the overall team, stay current on the competitive talent landscape, and articulate EarnIn's technical roadmap to candidates
Requirements
- 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Recruiting experience in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment or a high-growth tech company/startup
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for AI, ML, Data Science, or adjacent technical functions
- Track record of managing a complex, high-volume hiring portfolio across multiple functions simultaneously while developing strategic sourcing strategies
- Demonstrated experience mentoring or leading peers, formally or informally
- Hands-on experience with AI sourcing, recruiting tools, third-party tools, and some type of ATS
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience building strong relationships with executives and talent
- Strong written and verbal communication
- A data-driven mindset and the ability to leverage recruiting systems
- Strong project management skills and experience building, refining, and iterating on recruiting processes
- Strong offer negotiation and decision-making skills and experience navigating difficult offer situations
- Experience hiring for global markets is a plus
- Experience hiring for marketing roles is a plus
