Ford Program Management Supervisor will report directly to the Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) Manager, and will be responsible to work with the Product Development, Manufacturing and Supplier Quality teams to get priority on Ford Explorer and Police Utility Quality issues and ensure they are resolved in a timely fashion. Primary objectives include: Initial Quality – Repairs/1000 and Cost Per Unit
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Lead Change Control
- Manage PVT Quality Analyst’s daily workload and priorities (Provide mentoring)
- Attend daily Plant Quality meetings
- Schedule and Lead weekly Staff Meetings
- Attend weekly Export meetings
- Lead all related Management Report outs
- Manage weekly and monthly quality reports
- Onboarding new team members
- Manage non-standard Labor
- Manage Budget Tracker
- Support Chief Program Engineer Decision Forum with PVT point of view represented – Help explain the actions and business cases when needed
- Support Manage the change process
Qualifications
You'll have...
Minimum
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering field of study.
- Ability to think strategically, as well as respond and prioritize dynamic workload demands from different sources and collaborate with offsite teams.
- Experience in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel (pivots) and databases.
- Experience in Early Concern Binning, Product Development and Warranty.
- Experience with design change management and manage the change processes
- Experience working with a manufacturing facility
- Data logging and book-keeping skills, ability to manage/own multiple sources of information and cascade to appropriate team(s).
- Understanding of vehicle architectures and components.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and general program management familiarity: Project timing and Planning to meet business objectives.
- Strong Organization and Writing Skills.

- Strong knowledge of Ford product development processes Outstanding oral and written communication skills to summarize and articulate pertinent issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills with outstanding of customer mindset to understand their issues.

- Ability to interface effectively with external suppliers.
- Vehicle launch or previous plant quality experience.
- Experience with Global 8D, 6-Sigma problem solving methods and Ford quality system tools.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
