Head of Accounting

As Head of Accounting, you will play a central role in developing the financial functions of Red Bull Danmark. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality accounting processes and financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, while contributing to strengthening and optimizing department workflows.

You will lead a team of two skilled employees and become an important sparring partner for both the team and the rest of the organization. The role involves working closely with various departments to gain a solid understanding of the business and ensuring that accounting guidelines, policies, and treatments support the company's goals and development.

In close collaboration with the Finance Director, you will actively contribute to the ongoing development of the accounting function and help create a strong foundation for future growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounting team consisting of a Finance Specialist and an Accountant.
• Responsible for monthly and annual closures in the accounting function, including tax calculations.
• Assist with various matters related to month-end closing, including provisions, salaries, other debt, inventory, etc.
• Contact person for external audits, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
• Ongoing reporting on P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Budgeting costs and following up on budgets with budget holders.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements and guidelines.
• Develop, update, and maintain processes, guidelines, and controls.
• Ad-hoc projects, including support for commercial projects in the business.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an accountant, chief accountant, accounting manager, or auditor.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud, Hyperion, BI, and Analysis for Office is beneficial but not required.
• Proactive mindset that can contribute to departmental development, focusing on process improvements and AI.
• Strong communicator.
• Relevant bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent.
• Fluent in Danish and English.
