Field Production Representative

At Bayer Crop Science, we're seeking a Field Production Representative to join our team in Deforest, Wisconsin.

As a Field Production Representative, you will be responsible for producing high-quality seed while optimising costs and coordinating timely harvest and delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Selecting growers to improve production reliability and evaluating their capability, prior performance, and production area suitability
• Executing contractual agreements and recommending updates to grower pricing, contract guidelines, and production strategies
• Leading field activities, including stock seed shipment, trial coordination, and harvesting
• Monitoring production fields and working with growers to adopt best practices that maximise seed yield and quality
• Training production workers and growers on field operations and production standards
• Analysing production data to identify improvement opportunities
• Coordinating field inspections and securing phytosanitary certificates for seed exportation
• Building strong relationships with growers, labour contractors, and internal teams

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma
• Strong human relations and communication skills
• Ability to build trust with growers, labour contractors, and internal teams
• Customer-focused and innovative mindset
• Process-oriented and results-driven approach
• Strong negotiation and planning skills
• Ability to use digital and analytical tools

Preferred qualifications include:

• A B.S., M.S., or MBA degree
• 3+ years of experience in the seed industry
• Experience leading teams or directing contractor crews

In return, you can expect a salary between $75,600 and $113,400 per year, plus additional compensation and benefits such as health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, and sick leave.
