Description
As a Digital Native Account Executive at Databricks, you will have a strong command of the SaaS sales process. You will know how to sell innovation and change through customer vision expansion and guide deals forward to compress decision cycles.
You will love understanding a product in-depth and be passionate about communicating its value to customers and partners. You will always be prospecting for new opportunities, selling into existing accounts, and closing exciting deals.

Your impact will be significant:
- Assess your accounts and develop a strategy to identify and engage all buying centers
- Use a solution approach to selling and creating value for customers
- Identify the most viable use cases in each account to maximize Databricks' impact
- Orchestrate and work with teams to maximize the impact on your ecosystem
- Build value with all engagements to promote successful negotiations to close point
- Building account strategy, territory plan successfully prospecting into new customers while accurately managing a pipeline and forecast across multiple quarters
- Ability to manage competitive deals with awareness to proactively escalate when help is needed
- Promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark
- Be customer-focused by delivering technical and business results using the Databricks Platform
We look for:
- 5+ years of experience in open-source, data platform, or cloud infrastructure direct sales positions with an understanding of consumption GTM motions
- Prior customer relationships with CIOs and important decision-makers
- Demonstrated successful track record of meeting and exceeding targets for new logo acquisition and customer growth
- Ability to balance prioritization of prospecting with growing existing customer usage
- Simply articulate intricate cloud technologies and big data
- Experience exceeding sales quotas
- Success closing new business to existing accounts
- Bachelor's Degree
Pay Range Transparency: Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $245,200-$337,150 USD. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location.
