Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Master's student to join our team as a Masterand (m/w/d) for the development of integration and application methodology for motion systems in driving simulators.
Job Description: As a Masterand, you will integrate and parameterize virtual control systems into existing simulation environments. You will prepare and conduct application drives on dynamic driving simulators, analyze the interactions between vehicle models, controller structures, and driver perception. Additionally, you will investigate and develop existing motion interfaces, design and implement motion cueing algorithms, and evaluate and optimize the representation of realistic driving scenarios in the simulator.
Requirements:
- Currently studying mechanical engineering, mechatronics, software development, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with Python, simulator, or application knowledge is desirable
- Fluent in German (at least B2 level) and English
- Valid driver's license class B
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, self-motivated, and service-oriented
Contract Details:
- Freelance contract (self-employed)
- Starting September 2026
- Duration: 6 months
- Valid residence permit with permission to work as a freelancer required
