Lead GTM Enablement & Scale Architect, Field Engineering - Customer Skills

More than 10,000 organisations worldwide rely on Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform to unify and democratise data, analytics, and AI. As a Lead GTM Enablement & Scale Architect, you will shape the evolution of a global team of over 3,000 Field Engineers into trusted business advisors.

Responsibilities

• Own the global strategy for Customer Skills across Field Engineering
• Build influence approaches in the context of the platform
• Elevate the field from builder to builder-plus-advisor
• Build and ship enablement at scale using AI
• Design and build AI-powered practice environments
• Partner with FE leadership, the People Team, and enablement peers
• Enable SAs and account teams to break out of the IT silo
• Establish a tight leadership feedback loop
• Create enablement that changes behaviour
• Stay a practitioner of what you teach
• Define and track KPIs that measure behaviour change

Requirements

• A technical leader who has built customer-facing skill at scale
• Lived experience as a Solutions Architect or similar
• Strong point of view on what AI changes for technical talent
• Deep understanding of how technical people learn
• Builder mentality
• Demonstrated ability to build programs from scratch
• Experience working with senior leaders
• Scaling mindset
• Exceptional communication and facilitation
• Fluency in executive engagement and strategic selling methodologies

Nice to Have

• Experience at a high-growth infrastructure or SaaS company
• Technical background
• Background across both pre-sales and post-sales
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or other data and AI platforms
• Experience running executive engagement or C-level advisory programs
• Experience using AI to build at scale
