Description

Logitech is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join their Mechatronics team. As a critical role, you will contribute significantly to exploring and developing various sensing systems in Logitech portfolios.

The Role: You will lead the development of new technologies and products, bringing innovations and evaluating new technologies, concepts, designs, architectures, and components based on performance, user experience, risk, and manufacturability.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of new technologies and products, bringing innovations.
  • Evaluate sensing systems to assess new technologies, concepts, designs, architectures, and components.
  • Develop prototypes to validate innovations.
  • Develop sensing systems for gamepad and simulator, including hardware, firmware, and algorithm from concept to mass production.
  • Develop tools and setups to measure or characterize various sensing solutions.
  • Conduct Design Review, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) Review, and Engineering Verification Test (EVT) Review.
  • Perform measurements and qualification.
  • Collaborate with multi-competence engineering teams in a multi-sites environment.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Robotic Engineering, Electrical and Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
  • At least 9 years of development experience in the consumer electronics industry.
  • Proficiency in designing hardware analog sensing systems.
  • Proficiency in ARM Cortex-M series MCU architectures.
  • Proficiency in peripheral interfaces (ADC, DMA, SPI, I2C, UART).
  • Experience in C, C++.
  • Experience in OrCAD.
  • Experience in Python.
  • Experience in mass production.
  • Experience in full-system development, including hardware, firmware, and software.
  • Quick learner, self-motivated, and curious with good priorities and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with high fluency in English.
  • Efficiently create reports and synthesis on complex cross-functional topics.
  • Team player with an outspoken, open-minded, and creative personality.
  • Solid exposure in a multicultural working environment.
  • Good communication and personal organization skills.
