FBS IT Disaster Recovery Program Manager

Our Client, a leading US insurer with over $25 Billion in gross written premiums, serves more than 10 million US households. As a FBS IT Disaster Recovery Program Manager with Capgemini, you will oversee the planning and controlling of day-to-day project tasks and budgets for disaster recovery programs.

Role Description

Program Design & Governance

• Define an enterprise DR governance framework, including policy, standards, controls, and RACI.
• Establish a risk-based testing methodology and frequency model.
• Determine the scope, approach, and evidence required for DR testing.

Testing Governance & Oversight

• Develop an annual DR testing plan and coverage model.
• Implement a governance cadence with quarterly reviews and approvals.
• Track execution and validate test results.

Issue Management Framework

• Create a DR issue logging, severity classification, SLA, and remediation tracking system.
• Implement centralized issue tracking.

Regulatory & Audit Readiness

• Produce auditable evidence and reporting.
• Support NY DFS and internal audit attestation requirements.

Automation Enablement

• Build an integrated data model and implement a Power Platform solution for tracking test coverage, results, audit traceability, reporting, and executive dashboards.

Essential Job Functions

• Oversee daily project tasks and budgets.
• Implement organizational governance.
• Foster commitment and teamwork with business and IT partners.
• Handle specific customer challenges and escalations.
• Work with business units to define critical business needs and arrange resources.
• Deliver large-scale projects, managing risk, quality, change, and financial aspects.
• Evaluate work requests, authorize and develop work orders, and review supplier cost estimates.
• Ensure Acceptance Criteria and execute Acceptance Testing at the program level.
• Sign off on project deliverables and conduct post-implementation reviews.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in IT disaster recovery program management.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Fluency in English.
• ISO 27031 Certification is desirable.
