Soft Services Supervisor

ABM UK is seeking a dynamic and experienced Soft Services Supervisor to join our team. As Soft Services Supervisor, you will support the Soft Services Manager in delivering the highest standards of security, cleanliness, hygiene, waste management, and other contractual tasks at our client's sites.

You will supervise the team on shift to ensure they are carrying out tasks as required and to a high standard, directing them to reactive issues as they present themselves. You will also provide customer service to the public and support with fire and evacuation procedures.

The role involves:

• Ordering cleaning supplies and materials
• Ensuring lost property is taken to the police office and the file is up to date
• Conducting staff toolbox talks and documenting them
• Providing site-specific refresher training, such as emergency procedures
• Overseeing site-specific forms, including Fire extinguisher checks, first aid kit checks, and Storage Rack Checks
• Organising reactive staff cover in the absence of the Soft Services Manager
• Supporting the Soft Services Manager with day-to-day management of Security, Cleaning, and Maintenance teams
• Supporting with recruitment, onboarding, and staff administration in the absence of the Soft Services Manager
