In this position... The Production Supervisor - Stamping position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression. Production Supervisors are resilient, detail-oriented, and ambitious.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

  • Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements
  • Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
  • Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams
  • Demonstrate high integrity

Qualifications

You'll have...

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of supervisory and/or manufacturing experience
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends

  • Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience working in a production environment focused on stamping
  • Safety and quality experience
  • Six Sigma: Black of Green Belt certified
  • Knowledge of constraint management principles
  • Prior experience managing a unionized workforce
