Description
We are seeking a Manager, Software Engineering - Growth Platform to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of engineers to develop the Growth Platform. This platform will enable teams across Figma to run growth experiments without engineering bottlenecks.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Building and leading a team of engineers to develop the Growth Platform
- Hiring the initial engineers for the Growth Platform's first team
- Setting the team's culture, operating rhythm, and engineering standards
- Mentoring engineers and creating career growth opportunities
- Scaling the organization as scope expands
- Building capabilities that unlock new experiments
- Leveraging AI to scale quality and speed
- Providing hands-on technical leadership
- Partnering across the company to align on cross-channel messaging and identify platform capability needs
We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience in engineering management, a strong track record of building and shipping application platforms, and experience driving outsized impact from small changes. You should also have experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, design, and data.
