Manager, SMTA Engineering

As an NVIDIAN, you'll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. You will lead a local SMT Engineers team in support of NPI and mass production SMT process development and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities include:

• Characterizing and validating SMT processes to ensure flawless operations.
• Managing quality control and implementing strict quality management practices.
• Heading a team of SMT Engineers, guiding them to attain outstanding outcomes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve critical issues and report findings.
• Supporting new product introductions (NPI) and ensuring seamless transition to mass production.
• Communicating progress and challenges to Operations Management in Santa Clara, CA.
• Determining and implementing process improvements to maintain world-class standards.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or comparable experience.
• Proven experience in SMT process characterization and validation.
• Minimum of 8 overall years in engineering roles with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving critical issues.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and team collaboration.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
