FBS – Farmer Business Services is part of Farmers operations. Our goal is to identify, recruit, hire, and retain top talent through a global approach. We work with Capgemini, which acts as the Employer of Record, to manage local payroll and benefits.
As an FBS SQL Developer, you will design and develop computer programs, monitor the work of junior staff, and ensure accuracy of program logic and efficient use of computer resources. You will also perform preliminary evaluations of packaged software, conduct system studies, and analyze existing manual and computerized systems to improve efficiency.
Key responsibilities include coding instructions for computer programs, configuring packaged software, testing and implementing changes, documenting programs, and responding to production support issues. You will also analyze programs to ensure efficient use of computer and storage resources, recommend changes as necessary, and conduct preliminary estimates for new or changed application functionality.
Requirements include 3 years of experience as a SQL Developer, advanced SQL skills, and intermediate DB2 skills. Desired skills include AS400, ITIL/SDLC, and IBM I Services.
