Description

Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant. We offer a rewarding opportunity to assist patients/residents/clients with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in a treatment plan, under the supervision of a physical therapist. Your role will involve providing, monitoring and recording therapy services to patients/residents/clients with physical, cognitive, developmental impairments, in line with related standard concepts, practices and procedures.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will select, implement, and make modifications to therapeutic activities and interventions that are consistent with demonstrated competency levels, patient's/resident's/client's goals, and the requirements of the practice setting and/or state licensure. You will contribute to this process by exchanging information with and providing documentation to the physical therapist about the patient's/resident's/client's responses to and communications during intervention.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting patients/residents/clients with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in a treatment plan, under the supervision of a physical therapist
  • Providing, monitoring and recording therapy services to patients/residents/clients with physical, cognitive, developmental impairments
  • Selecting, implementing, and making modifications to therapeutic activities and interventions
  • Contributing to the process of exchanging information with and providing documentation to the physical therapist about the patient's/resident's/client's responses to and communications during intervention
