Senior Field Application Engineer - AI Factory Deployment

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer to provide onsite technical engagement for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI computing systems. The successful candidate will work across functions within the organization while ensuring a positive experience for external customers.

The role involves:

• Providing onsite support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions
• Solving complex hardware and deployment issues
• Acting as a technical specialist on GPU and networking products to support sales account managers
• Establishing technical relationships with customers' engineers, management, and architects
• Identifying customer architectures and key product requirements in the enterprise AI market
• Providing technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners
• Establishing positive relationships and communication channels with internal teams

Requirements include:

• BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design role or technical customer support role
• In-depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center hardware
• Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus
• Expert analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong time-management and organization skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale rollouts of datacenter equipment
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, Switches, etc.)
• Embedded Linux System, APIs, and similar embedded OS knowledge
• Experience working with OEMs in the industrial, military, and ruggedized computing space
• Knowledge of HVAC and cooling systems for thermal management, power distribution, cabling, and rack layout as well as CPU Architecture knowledge
