Forward Deploy Engineer

We are seeking a Forward Deploy Engineer to join our Sales Engineer team at Yuno. As a critical part of our Commercial team in Brazil, you will work closely with prospects to understand their technical requirements and deliver tailored product demonstrations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with the sales team to understand customer technical requirements and deliver code-level product demonstrations
• Designing and executing custom API integrations and proof-of-concept environments based on client-specific tech stacks and use cases
• Responding to technical queries throughout the sales process, acting as a bridge between customers, sales, and engineering
• Building and maintaining sandbox environments, sample code, and Postman collections to accelerate prospect technical evaluation
• Collaborating with Product and Engineering to relay field feedback on API design and developer experience
• Leading and contributing to RFP/RFI responses and technical documentation required during the sales cycle
• Troubleshooting integration issues in real-time during technical evaluations
• Building credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders by communicating complex payment orchestration concepts clearly
• Identifying patterns across prospects' technical objections to surface insights that improve sales and product development

The ideal candidate will have:

• Advanced English and Spanish language skills
• 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar technical role within payments or fintech
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and API testing tools (Postman, cURL)
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
• Understanding of payment industry protocols and security standards (PCI DSS, tokenization, 3DS, encryption)
• Familiarity with SQL and reading logs/traces to troubleshoot integration issues
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
• Track record of delivering successful technical product demonstrations and presentations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
