FBS SAP Informatica Data Engineer

FBS – Farmer Business Services is part of Farmers operations with the purpose of building a global approach to identifying, recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.

As an SAP Data Specialist, you will bridge the gap between raw data and business operations. You will manage, extract, and interpret data within SAP environments to optimize performance, ensure data integrity, and support executive decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level expertise in designing and functioning business applications
• Understand business objectives and how best they can be supported by IT
• Conceptually design business applications
• Review and validate technical designs for business applications provided by suppliers
• Perform quality review checks on project deliverables
• Validate supplier estimates
• Perform impact analysis of application changes across various components
• Review and validate detailed technical designs for business applications provided by suppliers
• Support implementation activities, troubleshoot system environmental issues, and provide training as required
• Maintain, audit, and update system master data to ensure accuracy across cross-functional enterprise systems
• Investigate system anomalies, data drift, and data quality issues, implementing fixes to prevent operational disruptions
• Work directly with business stakeholders or requirements, performing testing and BAU support

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working with ETL in an SAP environment
• Proficiency working with Informatica Power Center for Data Integration
• Experience working with DB2
• Proficiency with interfacing data from many disparate systems into an SAP (S/4) Finance system
• Deep proficiency in SQL
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and project management abilities
• Experience supporting an environment with Finance and Accounting data

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with Snowflake integration
• Experience working with AWS GLUE
