Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer (L3) Infrastructure to join our Developer Platform Experience team under Platform Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will help users interact with Twilio's internal developer platform, manage our software taxonomy and cloud infrastructure inventory, accelerate developer productivity via self-service tools, and drive adoption of engineering best practices throughout the company.
In this role, you will develop, test, and deploy backend, frontend, and client-side applications for internal use at Twilio. You will collaborate with teammates and guest contributors via peer reviews, planning exercises, and pair programming. You will also mentor junior engineers as necessary, write tickets, testing plans, and runbooks for the team, as well as internal documentation for users.
You will support internal users and ensure system uptime by participating in a 24x7 weekly on-call rotation. You will continuously improve Twilio's internal developer platform interfaces, local development tools, and platform onboarding processes. You will independently own medium-sized features, authoring specifications and designs for features of moderate complexity.
Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio.
