As the Manager of Global SRM Finance, you will be the architect of Ford’s financial strategy for managing supply chain disruptions. You will lead a newly transformed global organization of 10 professionals (3 supervisors and 7 analysts) dedicated to a dual-mission strategy: Proactive Risk Identification and Active Distressed Supplier Case Management.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Transformation: Lead the departmental shift into two specialized workstreams: a Proactive team focused on early-warning indicators and an Active team focused on managing high-impact distressed supplier cases.
- Executive Reporting & KPI Architecture: Design and implement a comprehensive reporting tools to provide senior management with high-visibility updates. You will define the metrics that measure team effectiveness, global supplier health trends, and the financial impact of risk mitigation efforts.
- Legal & Restructuring Governance: Serve as the primary finance lead in the review and negotiation of complex legal documents related to supplier restructurings and accommodations. You will evaluate accommodation agreements and other related documents to ensure Ford’s financial and operational interests are protected.
- Flawless Financial Reporting: Hold direct responsibility for the end-to-end integrity of SRM financial reporting. You will ensure that all accounting requirements, accruals, journal entries, and quarterly submissions (e.g. CaR reporting) are managed flawlessly and in full compliance with corporate standards.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the primary Finance partner to the Supply Chain Operating Team. You will be responsible for defining and maintaining the Roles & Responsibilities (R&R) between Finance and Operations to ensure seamless execution during supplier disruptions.
- Proactive Risk Framework: Oversee the development of “Future State” tools, including AI-driven monitoring, standardized risk toolkits, and financial review protocols to identify “trigger events” before they result in production risk, and develop actionable strategies for executive leadership.
- Global Team Management: Provide direct leadership and career development for a global team of 3 LL6 Supervisors and 7 GSR analysts, ensuring consistent methodology and execution across all regions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Finance, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
- Strong Financial Acumen: Deep expertise in financial analysis and familiarity with corporate accounting principles.
- Data-Driven Storytelling: Proven ability to develop executive-level KPIs and synthesize complex data into clear, high-impact presentations for senior leadership.
- Contractual Literacy: Proven ability to interpret and provide strategic input on complex legal contracts and restructuring agreements.
- Influencing Skills: Exceptional ability to align cross-functional stakeholders (Legal, Purchasing, Operations) on a unified strategy during high-pressure crises.
