Description

The Microsoft Windows & Devices team is seeking a Principal Program Manager for silicon planning & partnerships. In this role, you will plan and drive engagement with silicon companies to support our roadmaps, working in close collaboration with silicon architects, program managers, engineers, marketers, and other teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive strategies for partnering with silicon companies.
  • Drive process to evaluate opportunities for silicon technology and IP.
  • Define business frameworks and drive complex business deals and contracts.
  • Define and drive internal and external processes to work effectively with partners.
  • Develop effective relationships across external partner organisations and drive day-to-day engagement.
  • Activate internal teams to align roadmaps and investments with silicon partners.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful joint engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years experience in relevant technical domain.
  • Preferred qualifications include 12+ years experience in relevant technical domain, 8+ years of experience with hardware or software technology products, and 5+ years of experience defining and driving complex strategic partnerships.
