Description
In this position, you will support the product team by translating business requirements into actionable technical tasks. Your primary focus is to ensure the development team has a clear, well-documented backlog and to assist in the day-to-day management of the product lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting clear and concise user stories that include detailed acceptance criteria
- Assisting in the continuous grooming of the product backlog, ensuring tasks are estimated, prioritized, and 'ready' for development
- Attending daily stand-ups to clarify requirements for the developers and help remove immediate blockers
- Performing initial 'sanity checks' on completed features to ensure they meet the defined acceptance criteria before the final review
You will also be responsible for gathering information from stakeholders and users to document their needs and pain points, maintaining product documentation, and helping prepare progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Additionally, you will monitor basic product metrics and report out findings, actively participate in Retrospectives and Sprint Planning to improve the team's efficiency and effectiveness, and act as a point of contact between the business and the technical team, ensuring clear communication.
Qualifications include 2 years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, or a role within a software development environment, analytical capabilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional organizational skills.
