We are looking for a Product Manager in the Control Plane team, which owns Elastic Cloud's backend and Elastic's orchestration products. You will ensure Elastic's leading market position by managing a product portfolio that offers delightful experiences for customers at any scale.

Responsibilities

  • Define parts of the vision and roadmap for Elastic's Control Plane team, with a focus on new management, orchestration, and scaling capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Engineering counterparts to prioritize features.
  • Work with Sales & Marketing teams on go-to-market, messaging, competitive analysis, and enablement.
  • Gather market, competitive, and trend data, customer and community feedback, and usage information to develop product insights.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience with deep technical products.
  • Solid understanding and familiarity with infrastructure cloud technologies, distributed data stores, and developer-focused products.
  • Proven track record of using AI to accelerate work while owning final outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and teams, transitioning between projects based on business priorities.
  • Autonomous work style, driving decisions and results in a distributed team.
  • Ego-free attitude, empathy, transparency, and a good sense of humour.

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience with the Elastic Stack or common use cases such as application search, logging, metrics, APM, business analytics, security analytics, GIS, etc.
  • Comfortable using AI tools as part of day-to-day work.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional role with a highly distributed, global team.
  • Background in open-source software or commercial open-source companies.

Compensation and Benefits

The typical starting salary range for this role is: $128,300-$203,000 CAD
