Security Officer

We are seeking a Security Officer to support the site at The Dolphin Shopping Centre, Poole. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of customers, buildings, and personnel.

The role involves:

• Providing operational support to deliver the agreed service level
• Assisting the team by fostering team spirit and co-operation
• Supporting the delivery of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining documentation
• Maintaining compliance with Health & Safety legislation
• Promoting a secure and safe working environment
• Completing incident reports and dealing with complaints in a professional and timely manner
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels
• Ensuring equipment is fully operational and reporting any issues
• Liaising with the Centre Management Team and Security Supervisor

Requirements:

• Experience working in the Security Industry
• SIA Security Licence – SG or DS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Adaptable and flexible approach to work
• Willingness to work effectively within a team
• Proactive approach to learning and identifying own training needs
• Excellent observational skills
