Description
Join Brex's Engineering team as a Software Engineer II on the Cloud Infrastructure team. You will work on building and scaling Brex's core cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes, RDS/Postgres, and networking foundations. You will also contribute to the multi-year Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) initiative by implementing multi-region infrastructure readiness and automated failover capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience with cloud infrastructure foundations, specifically Kubernetes and Postgres. They will also have experience with incident response and maintaining highly available production systems. Additionally, they will have strong hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure-at-scale.
As a member of the team, you will participate in the team's on-call rotation and contribute to improving our incident response frameworks and system reliability. You will also foster a culture of technical excellence by improving work tracking, documentation, and operational best practices.
