Description
As a Director of Production Unit, you will be responsible for managing and organizing production within your unit while ensuring quality, cost, and delivery criteria are met, and optimizing economic profitability.
Your main activities will include:
- Ensuring the application of hygiene, safety, environmental, and working conditions rules
- Managing your unit's staff
- Developing communication, rigor, motivation, entrepreneurial spirit, involvement, and autonomous production teams
- Managing social relationships
- Conducting individual interviews with employees
- Evaluating and following up on employee skills and expressing annual needs for training to your hierarchical superior
- Recommending individual salary increases, promotions, and reclassifications to the Direction
- Organizing and ensuring production to meet client demands in terms of quantity, quality, and deadlines, while optimizing economic profitability
The ideal candidate should have a degree in engineering or a related field and at least 10 years of experience in a similar operational function in the automotive industry. Knowledge of project management, planning, and improvement methods is desirable.
Required skills include leadership, ability to take charge, implication, reactivity, decision-making, and good computer skills. Qualities required include leadership, ability to federate and promote teamwork, rigor, method, organization, good communication skills, result-oriented, ability to work in a team, autonomy, pragmatism, and pugnacity.
