Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Compensation to join our team at Brex. As a core member of the Compensation team, you will work with Brex leadership to run and build a world-class compensation program. You will oversee the entire compensation process, from administering market analysis to running merit cycles and pricing new roles.
What You'll Do
You will serve as a key player in developing and articulating Brex's total rewards strategy and long-term vision. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing compensation programs, such as participating in benchmarking and surveys, to calibrate and maintain Brex's market positioning
- Overseeing the annual merit cycle to ensure pay parity and competitive compensation across teams and geographies
- Promoting understanding of compensation philosophies, practices, and administration across all levels of the organization
- Leading initiatives to refine and evolve Brex's compensation model as it approaches maturity and scale
- Measuring and tracking key compensation and hiring-related leading indicators to inform business decisions
- Partnering with business leaders and People Partners to refine new or evolving roles and their corresponding incentive models
- Working with the Recruiting and Finance teams to maintain offer competitiveness while ensuring fiscal responsibility
- Producing ad-hoc analyses with quick turnarounds based on business needs
Requirements
- 8+ years of work experience in Compensation administration
- Exceptional attention to detail, prioritization, and time management skills
- Comfortable with ambiguity and strong planning, project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Excellent Excel or Google Sheets skills, with Pave knowledge a plus
Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $212,440 - $265,550 USD. The starting base pay will depend on factors including the candidate's location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.

As a hybrid environment, we combine the energy of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with up to four weeks per year of fully remote work.
