Description
We are seeking a Pricing Director to build and own a world-class pricing strategy that drives revenue growth, margin expansion, customer simplicity, and competitive differentiation across our product portfolio.
As a Pricing Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a pricing strategy that balances value-based pricing principles with commercial signals. You will work closely with Product, Finance, Revenue Operations, and Product Marketing to ensure pricing decisions are well-informed, consistently applied, and commercially viable across the full GTM motion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining a pricing framework across Komodo's product portfolio
- Establishing pricing governance, including a Pricing Committee, approval workflows, and discount management policies
- Building and maintaining a pricing intelligence function that continuously monitors competitive pricing, win/loss data, and customer willingness to pay
- Working with the Deal Desk to support large or complex deals by structuring pricing and packaging that maximizes value capture while protecting margins and setting healthy precedents
- Leveraging AI tools and advanced analytics to deliver pricing insights, report on results, and model scenarios
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or monetization in B2B technology, with a clear track record of commercial impact. They will have specific experience with usage-based, consumption, or outcome-based pricing models, and a strong understanding of AI's role in pricing strategy and monetization.
In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who can distill complex quantitative analyses into clear, confident recommendations for executive audiences. They will also be a strong cross-functional collaborator who can build trust and drive alignment across Product, Finance, Sales, and Marketing.
