Description

We're looking for a Studio Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a key member of our Design team, you will be responsible for leading the creation of Class A surfaces, integrating technical, feasibility, manufacturing, and program requirements into the Design theme and surface to support the development of theme models from concept through final production release of Class A surface.

Your responsibilities will include leading the Design Feasibility Process from early concepts to production surfaces, delivering feasible, design intent, high-quality Class A surfaces on time, and mediating incompatibilities between design and hardpoints. You will also compile, publish, and drive closure of surface and feasibility critique sheets, co-create to identify what could be, can be, and find the win-win solutions that drive alignment around the Design Vision, program direction, and engineering requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years of automotive surfacing authoring or surface feasibility experience. You should also have experience utilizing CAD tools (Catia, ICEMSURF, or Alias) and Data Management systems (TCe).

Salary:

  • This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500–$218,100.
  • Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility, and competitive market value.
