FBS SAP FS-RI Developer

FBS – Farmer Business Services is part of Farmers operations with the purpose of building a global approach to identifying, recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.

The SAP Finance team supports Finance operations and reporting for Farmers Insurance. One of the key support areas is the Reinsurance platform (SAP FS-RI).

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level expertise in designing and implementing business applications
• Understand business objectives and how they can be supported by IT
• Conceptualize business applications and validate technical designs
• Perform quality reviews and validate supplier estimates
• Analyze application changes and their impact on various components
• Implement and test new business requirements and use cases
• Translate complex reinsurance requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Set up and maintain treaty and facultative structures, proportional/non-proportional arrangements, participation structures, and risk accumulations
• Ensure accurate reinsurance accounting and integration with SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP FS-CD
• Manage period-end close processes, premium estimations, claims recoveries, and settlements
• Lead or support System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience working with SAP ABAP
• Experience with Experience Services framework
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA
• Knowledge of FS-RI

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Informatica Power Center
• Experience with SAP FS-CD
