Description
NVIDIA is seeking a dynamic leader to own its global capacity planning. This individual will lead the end-to-end capacity planning process across foundries and contract manufacturers' sites, blending traditional supply chain management with advanced AI.
The Manager, Capacity Planning will lead and mentor a team of roughly six industrial engineers, establishing key objectives that harmonize with supply chain and manufacturing goals. The leader will develop advanced capacity models and algorithms to pinpoint investment needs and risks across diverse product lines, while partnering with data science teams to integrate AI/ML techniques and automated scenario generation.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of industrial engineers
- Developing advanced capacity models and algorithms
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Engineering, and IT
- Standardizing workflows and metrics
Requirements:
- 8+ overall years of related experience and 2+ years of experience leading a team
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in driving scenario planning and “what-if” analyses
- Ability to translate sophisticated models into clear narratives and decisions
- Experience working with functional engineering groups and contract manufacturer management
